I thought this was such an awesome photo. The expression and look in the child's eyes is truly amazing. JuanCarlo'sLife, you have definitely captured this young man's imagination and intrigue. In my opinion that is what teaching is all about. It is funny, as we grow and look back on our entire life, there are typically just a few instances that stand out...things that made a difference. I would think as this child grows and becomes a man, he will never forget this day you spent with him, and helped him as well. He is studying you, and enjoying every minute of it. I applaud you for your generous spirit of volunteering your time...and it seems you enjoy it very much too. You are the essence of a true teacher.

On this fix I used the magnetic lasso tool and selected out the subjects. I copied them to a new layer, and touched up the edges some with the airbrush eraser tool. I added some images, from gwennie2006's tutorial...the Bigger is Better section. It was okay, and I was sent the originals to work from. There is a section of gwennie's tutorials that is all about inspiration, and I kinda thought it fit in well with your image.

I used some of her Mickey Mouse drawings on a multiplier mode layer and blended them with a normal layer to try and have the imagery coming out of the background. I really appreciate your letting me work on your photo, JuanCarlo'sLife, and I think it is wonderful how you have brightened someone's day:)
